Stacey Pum exemplifies what the Coffee Connection is all about. Stacey came to the Coffee Connection to fulfill the requirements to work for her county welfare benefits. Because of her criminal record, no one would hire her, despite promises to do so.
I recognized Stacey’s potential and I told her I would hire her. She didn’t believe me. Stacey now celebrates 3 years with the Coffee Connection…and 10 years of sobriety from heroin! As our HR director, Stacey plans to spend the rest of her life growing with the Coffee Connection! Read her attached story and hear how she descended from suburban life to street life to building her life back up at the Coffee Connection. Signs of women’s progress include getting a car (not fancy!!!), getting new teeth, stable relationships, and becoming a beloved employee with a mission herself. That would be Stacey!
